Key Responsibilities
- Distribute and collect examination papers and supplementary materials accurately and efficiently.
- Clearly read out examination instructions and announcements to candidates at the start of each session.
- Vigilantly monitor candidates throughout the examination to prevent malpractice or any breach of rules.
- Verify candidate identification against attendance lists and seating plans.
- Address candidate queries and concerns in accordance with established guidelines, escalating complex issues to the senior invigilator or centre supervisor when necessary.
- Enforce strict adherence to examination regulations, including those pertaining to mobile phones, personal belongings, and unauthorized materials.
- Report any irregularities, incidents, or suspected breaches of conduct promptly and accurately using designated incident reporting procedures.
- Ensure the examination room remains quiet, conducive to testing, and free from distractions.
- Manage the start and end times of examinations precisely, including announcing time remaining.
- Maintain the security and confidentiality of all examination materials before, during, and after the test.
- Assist candidates with approved special arrangements as required.
- Complete and submit all necessary administrative paperwork related to the examination session.
