As a Supermarket Cashier and Sales Associate at Winners, you are the face of our brand, often the last point of contact for our valued customers. Your role is crucial in ensuring a seamless, pleasant, and efficient checkout experience. You will be responsible for accurately processing transactions, handling various payment methods, including cash, credit/debit cards, and mobile payments, and meticulously balancing your till at the beginning and end of each shift. Beyond the transactional duties, you will engage with customers, answer their queries regarding products, promotions, or store layout, and provide assistance with a friendly and helpful attitude, ensuring they leave our store feeling satisfied and eager to return. Maintaining a clean, tidy, and organised checkout area is also a key aspect, contributing to a welcoming and professional environment for all shoppers.

Key Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using POS systems.
- Handle cash, process card payments, and manage other payment methods.
- Maintain an organised, clean, and tidy checkout area.
- Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service.
- Assist customers with product inquiries and direct them to relevant store sections.
- Perform accurate cash reconciliation and till balancing at the start and end of shifts.
- Scan items, bag groceries, and ensure correct pricing.
- Adhere to all store policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations.
- Promote store loyalty programs or special offers when applicable.
