Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients and event planners to understand their vision, budget, and specific requirements for each event.
- Develop creative and innovative décor concepts, including mood boards, sketches, and detailed design proposals.
- Source and select appropriate decorative elements such as flowers, lighting, fabrics, furniture, props, and signage.
- Manage inventory of décor items, ensuring proper maintenance, storage, and readiness for events.
- Oversee the meticulous setup and styling of event venues, including floral arrangements, table settings, drapery, lighting, and stage décor.
- Coordinate with event staff, venue managers, and other vendors to ensure a smooth and timely execution of décor plans.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any on-site design or logistical challenges efficiently and creatively.
- Ensure all décor installations comply with safety regulations and venue guidelines.
- Supervise the dismantling and packing of décor items post-event, ensuring careful handling and transport.
- Stay updated on current design trends, materials, and techniques in the event décor industry.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as an Event Decorator or similar role with a strong portfolio.
- Exceptional creativity and an eye for aesthetics, detail, and visual harmony.
- Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp) is a plus.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
