Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Bouncer (Club Security) to join our dynamic team at Stardust Disco Club Malindi. In this pivotal role, you will be the first and last point of contact for many of our guests, responsible for maintaining a safe, friendly, and orderly environment for all patrons and staff. Your presence will be key in ensuring a positive experience for everyone, while upholding club policies and safety standards. You will be instrumental in preventing disruptive behavior, resolving conflicts calmly and effectively, and supporting the overall operational flow of the club. This position requires strong judgment, excellent communication skills, and a professional demeanor, even in high-pressure situations. Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a visible presence at designated entry points and within the club premises to deter potential disturbances and ensure patron safety.
- Verify age and identification of all patrons entering the club to enforce strict age restrictions and club policies.
- Monitor guest behavior, identify potential conflicts or issues, and intervene appropriately to de-escalate situations calmly and professionally.
- Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies, disturbances, or security incidents, coordinating with management and local authorities as needed.
- Safely and courteously escort unruly or intoxicated patrons from the premises when necessary, adhering to all legal guidelines and club protocols.
- Conduct regular patrols of the venue, including restrooms and outdoor areas, to ensure cleanliness, safety, and adherence to club rules.
- Assist patrons with directions, information, and general inquiries in a polite and helpful manner.
- Collaborate with bar staff, management, and other team members to ensure smooth operations and a cohesive work environment.
- Complete incident reports accurately and promptly for any security-related events or issues encountered during shifts.
- Adhere to all local laws, licensing regulations, and Stardust Disco Club Malindi's operational policies and procedures.

Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a bouncer, security guard, or in a similar security role, preferably within a club or hospitality setting.
- Valid First Aid and CPR certification.
- Relevant security training certifications or licenses (e.g., SIA license if applicable in Kenya, or local equivalent).
- Fluency in Swahili and English; knowledge of other languages is a plus.
- Strong understanding of local laws and regulations pertaining to licensed premises.
