Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the active scouting and discovery of new artists and musical talent through various platforms, including social media, online music communities, live performances, and industry showcases.
- Conduct thorough research on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging genres to identify potential market opportunities.
- Organize and maintain our talent database, ensuring all artist submissions and contact information are accurate and up-to-date.
- Prepare detailed artist reports and presentations for internal team meetings, highlighting key strengths, marketability, and potential for growth.
- Support A&R managers in artist outreach, communication, and scheduling of meetings or showcases.
- Contribute creative ideas for artist development strategies, branding, and promotional campaigns.
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed to ensure smooth operations within the Talent Development department.
Required Skills
- Strong passion for music and a broad knowledge of various genres and emerging artists.
- Excellent research and analytical skills, with the ability to identify patterns and potential.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or Google Workspace.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
