Job Description

Career.zycto is seeking a driven and culturally astute Business Development Executive to join our team in Thunder Bay. This unique role is specifically designed to leverage your expertise in fostering business growth while catering to the specific needs of our international clientele and foreign talent pool. You will be instrumental in expanding our market presence, identifying new opportunities, and building lasting relationships within the Canadian business community, with a particular focus on companies interested in diversifying their workforce through global recruitment.

Your primary objective will be to identify and secure new partnerships with businesses across various sectors, demonstrating how Career.zycto can provide tailored solutions for their talent acquisition needs, particularly for roles that can be filled by skilled foreign workers. This involves understanding the unique challenges and opportunities associated with international recruitment and presenting compelling value propositions. You will play a crucial role in not only driving sales targets but also in acting as an advocate for our diverse talent, ensuring their successful placement and integration into Canadian workplaces. This commitment extends to understanding the nuances of international candidates’ career aspirations and helping businesses appreciate the rich value that foreign professionals bring.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of sales processes, excellent cross-cultural communication skills, and a genuine passion for connecting people with opportunities, especially those navigating a new country and career landscape. You will be expected to maintain a robust sales pipeline, conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends and potential clients, negotiate contracts with a keen eye on mutual benefit, and collaborate closely with our talent acquisition and client success teams to ensure seamless service delivery. This proactive approach, strategic thinking, and the ability to adapt to a dynamic market are essential for success. We are looking for someone who is not just a salesperson, but a bridge-builder, passionate about creating inclusive and globally-aware workplaces across Canada.
