Key Responsibilities
- Provide empathetic one-to-one support and encouragement to individuals in various stages of addiction recovery.
- Assist clients with daily living skills, routine management, and access to community resources.
- Facilitate and support group activities and therapeutic sessions as part of a structured recovery programme.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records, documenting progress and observations.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including therapists, social workers, and other support staff.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of a safe, supportive, and recovery-focused environment.
- Uphold professional boundaries and adhere to all safeguarding and confidentiality policies and procedures.
- Participate in supervision, training, and team meetings to enhance skills and professional development.
- Respond effectively to crisis situations, following established protocols and escalating concerns appropriately.
- Advocate for clients' needs and rights within the recovery process.
