Key Responsibilities
- Actively scout and identify emerging musical talent across various genres through live shows, digital platforms, and industry networks.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with artists, managers, producers, promoters, and key industry influencers.
- Evaluate artist demos, online presence, and live performances to assess potential for development and commercial success.
- Conduct thorough market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities in the music landscape.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations on prospective artists, outlining their artistic vision, market appeal, and strategic value.
- Facilitate artist development by providing constructive creative feedback and guidance.
- Negotiate and assist in the structuring of recording and publishing deals.
- Attend industry events, showcases, and festivals to expand network and discover new talent.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, including marketing, legal, and artist relations, to ensure seamless artist integration and support.
- Stay abreast of new technologies and platforms impacting music discovery and consumption.
